Which is best – hair clay or paste?

One of the most common questions we are asked by customers in our London barbershop is ‘Which is best for me? Hair clay or hair paste?’
So, we thought we’d try and make it a little easier for you to choose which one is best for your hairstyle & hair texture.

MATT CLAY:   Our hair clay, better known as Carbon Clay, is a soft easy to apply clay containing real Kaolin Clay, which can also help keep your hair soft and replenished. Once in the hair, it has a matt appearance and a hold factor or 3/5.
Meaning it doesn’t set hard; it remains movable and provides a textured, choppy finish.

HAIR PASTE:   Our paste in our range, better known as Design Paste, will offer your hairstyle a hold factor of 4/5, also with matt results. Described on the jar as a ‘pliable hold’ meaning you can still tweak and move your hair as required.

Still unsure which to choose? Then why not get in touch via our contact page, or you can even send us a photo of your hairstyle via our Instagram or Facebook page.
