Which Is Best Hair Clay Or Hair Paste?

A question frequently asked to us by our clientele in our London Barbershop is ‘Hair Clay or Paste: which is best for me?’
.

So, we thought we’d try and make it a little easier for you to choose which one is best for your hairstyle & hair texture.

MATT CLAY

Our hair clay, better known as Carbon Clay, is a soft easy to apply clay. Containing real Kaolin Clay, it also helps to keep your hair feeling soft and replenished. Once in the hair, it has a matt appearance and a hold factor of 3/5.
This means it doesn’t set hard; it remains movable and provides a textured, choppy finish.

HAIR PASTE

Our paste in our range, better known as Design Paste, will offer your hairstyle a hold factor of 4/5, also with matt results. Described on the jar as a ‘pliable hold’, meaning you can still tweak and move your hair as required.

Still unsure whether you’re a Hair Clay or Paste type of guy? Then feel free to get in touch via our contact page, where we can offer you a bit more info based on your hair type. Once you’ve perfected your style, make sure to send us a photo of your hairstyle via our Instagram or Facebook page!
